Gregory Laboissonniere
Since 2003, Greg has been servicing the business community’s credit card needs with RBS Worldpay and Citizens Bank. He and his wife Nancy have operated Cowesett Wine & Spirits in West Warwick since 1986.
In addition to his business experience, public service has always been important to Greg.
He was a youth football coach for the Coventry Rams and a baseball coach in the Coventry Babe Ruth League for many years before entering Coventry politics. Greg won a seat on the Coventry Town Council in April 2003 and served until November 2006 in that capacity. In 2009, Greg was the moderator for the Coventry Financial Town Meeting.
Presently, Greg is serving on the Coventry Charter Review Commission as vice chairman and also serves as the treasurer for Gabriel’s Trumpet, a non-profit, all volunteer, Catholic bookstore in Coventry as well as the Pawtuxet Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Greg won the 2009 Inner Circle Award for being RBS Worldpay/Citizen’s Merchant Services top performer.
Greg has been married to Nancy (Lancellotta) for 31 years and they have 2 children, Dane and Mara.
Greg has enjoyed playing guitar and singing for audiences of all sizes for many years as a member of local bands and as a solo artist. He enjoys golfing, skiing and spending time with family and friends.
Greg is a 1974 graduate of West Warwick high School and 1978 graduate of Nichols College with a BSBA in Accounting.
